What Jarvis is
Jarvis is an internal assistant built and operated by Nelo Automation for the use of a single person, its owner. The owner talks or types to Jarvis, and Jarvis carries out everyday office tasks through the owner's connected accounts. It is not a public product, it is not offered to other people, and it has no sign-up.
How Jarvis uses Google
With the owner's consent, Jarvis connects to the owner's Google account through Google's standard OAuth sign-in. It uses that access to:
- Gmail — read and search the owner's mail and prepare drafts. Sending a message requires the owner's explicit approval first.
- Google Calendar — read the owner's events and add events the owner asks for.
- Google Drive and Google Docs — search, read and create files the owner asks for.
- Google Sheets — read, append to and create spreadsheets the owner asks for.
Jarvis only touches Google data in response to the owner's own requests. How that data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
